HAND TO HAND: Pop Selections for the Diaspora
“Hand to Hand: Pop Selections for the Diaspora” is a new cassette tape edition by Aventures LTD in collaboration with Unibrow Sun & Glue Factory Radio, assembled by Sabri Sami Sundos, Michelle Nazzal, & Andrew Miller. The project draws inpspiration from histories of bootleg mixtapes exchanged by family and through travel across the Arab diaspora. It pays homage to the preciousness of music as a souvenir, especially for people displaced or in exile.

They were quickly dubbed, recopied, and passed along, hand to hand, through a community hungry for connection. I remember my parents’ would build their own collections - mixtapes of favorites that would continue to circulate among family and friends. Hand to Hand: Pop Selections for the Diaspora was launched at the 2026 Printed Matter LA Art Book Fair. Currently you can find this limited edition mixtape available at Aventures LTD.
All proceeds from Hand to Hand will be donated to The Sameer Project - a grassroots organization providing crucial aid to people to the ground in Gaza.

ASWAT BILLBOARD EXHIBITION
As a means of solidarity, both for the families impacted in Gaza and Palestinians who have been living under Zionist occupation for over 76 years, artists Michelle Nazzal & Sabri Sami Sundos teamed up to curate a billboard exhibition, under the newly founded collective Unibrow Sun.
Alongside SaveArtSpace, the exhibition is presented in hopes of providing artists and advocates a platform. A place to amplify their voices as they continue to call for an end to the occupation and for a Free Palestine.

Screening of Rasheed a film by Samia Badih.
Badih documents the life of her late uncle Rasheed Broum who was killed, at the age of 29, in an airstrike in the city of Sidon during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 – three years before Samia was born.
Through Rasheed’s story, the documentary takes the viewer back in time to the 1960s and ‘70s, a time when Lebanon was influenced by the rise of Arab nationalism and torn with internal politics which later broke into a civil war. Rasheed captures one of the many war stories from the southern city of Sidon, Lebanon through Badih’s own personal journey. Sidon reportedly suffered the highest casualty toll during the Israeli invasion outside of Beirut. It has been reported that the Israeli invasion that summer killed 17,500 people
